We've caught up to the present. ^_^ This is one of my take-home commissions from AnthroCon.

AC was very cool! It was amazing to see the city on board, and the convention itself is just so much bigger than any other furry event, it's pretty incredible.

That said, I did terribly there and won't be back! Hahaha the experience was worth it though, and my table neighbour was wonderful.

So if anyone's reading this who works fur cons: a bunch of my artists (and client) friends warned me against AC for business. I wanted to see it so I went anyway. Part of the problem was it was an expensive destination for flying. Basically I broke even, but it was a little weird since I went internationally one (AND had my own hotel room) two months prior and I even made a profit there.

It's the ArtVsArtist meme from earlier this year! Yay! I liked seeing how artists looked like their artwork, it was really strange.

I only used personal art for this. I miss drawing my characters! Very soon I'll have time again, much excite.

A reference sheet I made earlier this year for a commissioner over Etsy. I'm very happy with how this came out. I used to make a LOT of ref sheets for fun when I didn't get much work and this is my favourite by far. I need to update the old ones of my own characters, haha!

I spent 10 months working on this because of life stress. So it deserves its own blog post! of shame!! hahaha

I put a huge amount of hours into it and I'm pretty satisfied. One thing I want to work on is tight details in backgrounds, which I got to here. I wish it was a bit more dynamic but overall I'm pleased.

I don't get as many digital commissions. It was actually weird going back to digital after doing so much art with Copic markers.

Pet portrait speedpainting of recently passed Shadow. I had a massive empathy sad while doing this and I'm really grateful she commissioned me for it. A gift for her parents.



This last one is based on the Avatar series, where Aang is cleansing his chakras (this would be sahasrara) and when Korra is searching for light/Raava. I absolutely love this series and had a blast with this commission.

I had a lot of fun at conventions this year! I met some great people, improved my social skills, and pushed myself with business, investments, and spot illustrations.

Hello, it's me.

I've had an insanely busy past 13 months. I went to a lot of conventions and got a lot of work! I won't be posting most of them here, so if you'd like to see please visit my Fur Affinity page, as it's the only location I post them all.

There's about half a dozen pieces of paid work left on my queue - I hope to be done by the end of September.

I flew on 18 flights this year! Left the country three times, lost a close family member (six months ago today), got my 200 hour yoga teaching certificate, and now I'm back to school for two semester for the TESOL certificate. I'm learning how to handle stress better and updating all of my art pages with what I've done this year, so there will be graduate updates. I haven't blogged for a long time!
